Stephanie Ostara – Founder of Ostara
I am initiated as a Healer, Shaman, High Priestess, Teacher, Guide, and Ceremonial Master within several Ancient Mystery School lineages.
My spiritual journey began with the rich influences of my family lineage. One of my grandmothers was deeply devoted to the Greek Orthodox faith—I was christened by the Archbishop, attended church weekly, and learned to recite prayers in Ancient Greek. My other grandmother, however, was a woman of the Goddess traditions, she would read our coffee cups and tarot cards while tending to her incredible herb garden. These early contrasts sparked my lifelong curiosity, leading me to study philosophy and ask the big questions, and seek out the mysteries from a young age.
At 19, I embarked on my Mystery School journey, receiving adept initiation. By 27, I had stepped into the role of Teacher and Guide, sharing this wisdom internationally. My training has been vast, spanning multiple schools, but it is primarily rooted in the Hermetic, Solomonic, and Ancient Egyptian Mysteries. After extensive training, in 2018, I was handed down the keys to hold a Ray Mystery School lineage—Ostara was born.
Over the past 17 years, I have immersed myself in the Mystery School traditions, experiencing many different approaches to this work. I founded Ostara to honor these ancient teachings while also celebrating and supporting the unveiling of each person’s unique magick and gifts. At its core, Ostara is rooted in love, authenticity, and deep acceptance of all who walk this path.
Beyond esoteric studies, I also have a background in Psychology and founded The Indigo Project, a holistic youth organization delivering free creative, business, and mindfulness programs for vulnerable young people in London. These new-paradigm education projects equip young people with tools to cultivate self-worth, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience while developing their creative gifts and business skills within a supportive community.
I have an insatiable passion for learning and an even deeper calling to share. Esoteric wisdom, mystery teachings, ceremonial practices, and alchemical journeys have transformed my life—and Ostara has been carefully curated to bring this same transformation to others. Offering ten pathways of Mystery School training, this work has the power to change your life beyond your wildest dreams.
Creating Ostara has been my life’s legacy. It is my greatest honor to serve and support others in finding their way back home to themselves. This, to me, is what I call The Great Work.
